Reflections of a Sunset

Back when I was living in Tucson I used to take little mini vacations in Prescott. It was always nice to get out of the desert heat and explore new sites. I used to stay at at a hotel called Prescott Resort. It sits on top of a hill with a beautiful patio and a nice view. Best of all, it’s very affordable, especially when you visit during the midweek, as I used to do.

I also like shooting windows and reflections. Sometimes it can be a little challenging, as I don’t want to capture my own reflection in the photo, but oftentimes I’ll get nice results. I also like sunsets. In fact, photographers refer to sunsets as The Magic Hour, and it’s easy to understand why. So many vibrant colors with interesting lights at shadows. This time I got lucky. I was in the right place, at the right time, to get the best of both. I got an amazing shot of a sunset, reflecting on a glass door and windows.
